Format

We intentionally want to avoid a mini-conference format. Hence, the workshop will be highly interactive and a keynote presentation is currently planned for one of the morning sessions.

Pre-workshop, all attendees will be asked to read the other papers and submit their discussion questions to the workshop organisers who will collect them and use them for group discussions. The workshop concludes with a discussion session attended by all workshop participants.

Results

The expected result is a synthesis paper capturing the retrospective on existing modularity techniques and their effectiveness in meeting the challenges for software systems in a sustainable world. This paper will capture the new emerging techniques in software sustainability and suggest a research agenda for the community over the next 5-10 years.
